A lot of engines still don't have it. I suspect this is because the sludge problem has yet to be solved, and a lot of firms don't wanna pay to do the regular needed maintenance until they've first figured out how to eliminate the issue.

Yeah I'm aware of the carbon build up issues, I just figured being such a new engine it would have it . GMs V6 had it for quite sometime.

Audi's newest engines add a supplemental port injector, which looks like it fixes the issue.
